FRESHMEN Freshman year . . . downbeat year . . . the best of all some say . . . new . . . excite- ment-high schoolg and the rhythm of the days ran like this: September . . . nervous and eager . . . queried one rimidly, Where's the stairs? October . . . they knew their way around . . . and liked waving pom-poms at football games and doing skits at the Pep rally.
