He is a symbol that represents everything good. Doc, as he is known to every¬ one, is always present to give his time, medical skill, advice, and money to anything or any¬ body that has a connection with Cathedral High. We could go on forever list¬ ing what Doc has done for Cathedral, but every grad of Cathedral knows what Doc has done for him and the school. We, the grads of ’58, join the grads of many other years in saying thanks to Doc — a man who represents all that is good and Christian in life. At St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, where Boh is studying this year, his escutch¬ eon grows still brighter. With all his friends, we wish him God’s speed in all that he does. 4 “ DAVID J. It is our hope that you will enjoy this book and save it as a reminder in years to come of your high school years, spent at Cathedral. The members of the business staff, led by Dave Reeb did the job well, and are a big reason why there is a yearbook. The members of the business staff seated around the table, are: Bob Heafner, Dave Reeb, Bob Fries, and Mel Week. The writing staff of the Crusader of 58 seated are: Don Gore, and Charles McKeon. At the top. Left to Right : Janice Kombrink. Judy Kassebaum, Barb Fries, and Rita Craig. At bottom right is Karen Oberbauer, who was absent when the top photo was taken. To them all the 58 Yearbook staff says thanks. Some people do not like the work of ChaUcer, and some people will not like the Crusader. The only thing I can say, as editor, is that we of the yearbook staff did our best to make this book a fitting yearbook for the class of 58. If we have made most students feel we have done this, then we have done what we set out to do. In closing, I would like to thank all, both student and teacher for making this book possible. I can only say thanks to those of my staff who did what they could, the best they could. Brother Lehan and Jim Eichholz have given more time than anybody, and the book is largely the result of their labor. If I could see through McKeon’s arm, I would see Dave Reeb and the busi¬ ness staff hard at work. Since I can’t see them I can only hope they hear my thanks, for a job well done.
