RT, REV. MSGRN. MUICLLICR The graduates of '43 extend sincere appre- ciation to Monsignor Joseph M. Mueller, Pastor ol' Uathedral Parish, Msgr. Mueller is a man of prayer, principle, character and kindness. Throughout four years of study, fun, and mis- ehieviousiiess, we reineniber now and will never forget what il friend we have in hiln. Through thick and thin, trouble and the usual tran- quillity of the school day, Msgr. Mueller stood hy us. The majority of' the seniors will go to the Uncle Sa1n's armed forces. Some to the Ariny, some to the Navy, Marines, others to the Air Vorps. But wherever they may be, if at a camp in sunny Florida or in a foxhole at flll2lIl2ll'21llEll, they will always 1'0lllPlllll0l' how close he brought us to God. BRO. URBAN FIAICICGIC. S.M.,Ph.D. For two years it has been our distinct pleasure to have been under the supervision of Brother Urban Fleege, S.M.,Ph.D. Duringthese years many changes have been made through his incessant zeal to make C.H.S. the institu- tion that will give its students the best educa- tion possible. Last year, mechanical drawing was introduced for the first time. This year, trigononletry, biology, remedial reading, shop eourses, and aeronautics were offered to the students. Also, this year, with Lt. John H. Starke as drilhnaster, a Victory Corps was or- ganized, giving all students the fundamental loot inoveinents of the Arnly. ln these two years, strict discipline was en- forced. We did not like it, hut realize now the great amount of good Brother Urban has ac- coinplished.

Faculty BRO. RAYMOND VVITTE Calliedral High has been conducted by the Brothers of Mary for the past thirty-eight years. During' our four years, we consider ourselves f01'll111H,tC in having been un- der the supervision of these zealous men. As f1'0SllIllCl1 and sophomores under the direction of Brother NVilfred Moran, S.M., Ph.D., we prepared ourselves to become upperelassnien. During the lust two years, under the guidance of Broth- er Urban Fleege, SM.. Ph.D., stern discipline was our lot. VVe didn 't like it. But now, at Fi11is of our four- XC111' stay, our eyes are opened and we realize what a price- less training is ours. It is a training by men for men. They laid the foundationg the future is ours.
