His Excellency Most Reverend Henry Althoff, D. D. Bishop of Belleville As our next ' door neighbor for twentydive years. His Excellency has shown himself a de voted champion of Catholic higher education. Through his cooperation Cathedral High School has advanced during these years, educating for the glory of God and the exaltation of Holy Mother Church. We are indeed grateful to our Bishop for the opportunity he has given us to obtain a Catholic High School education.

For four years we have known Msgr. Mueller as our patron, spiritual guide, and friend. He has been our patron in the sense that he is responsible for the con ' tinued existence of our high school. His timely talks in church and school have been of inestimable value to us in the spiritual life. But most of all we look on Father Mueller as our friend.
