5 Father Raymond Field, C.S.V. Father Ray Field came to Cathedral Boys High School in 1954. He would teach various subjects over his 14 years at the two schools, but he is most prob- ablv remembered by most grads as Dean of Discipline. He was first asked to take this office in 1958 and he served out that schoolyear. ln 1962 he was again asked to become Dean and this time held that unenviablejobfor the next six years. Father Fields roar sometimes echoed down the halls ofboth schools, but most realized that his roar was worse than his bite. Fairness was second nature to Father Field and each decision was agonized over with the beneht ofthe doubt often given to the culprit. He was trulv concerned about the welfare of the individual and this came through in his dealings with the students. Father Field is one Dean of Discipline remembered with respect and affection by those who were his charges. When he left Griffin, Father entered the parish ministry. He is currentlv completing a well earned sabbati- cal year at Berkeley in California. twlaf ' Fr. Patj. Durkin Fr. Casimir S. Paul Fr. Marion B. Schuetz Bro. Wm. Dunlap Bro. james P.
