19 4 marked the 50th anniversary of Cathedral High School and the 25th anniversary of Griffin. A year-long celebration of this double anniversary began with an outdoor Mass in September of 1983. Under the direction of Mrs. Austin and Brother Holubowicz two productions were staged in cooperation with Sacred Heart Academy, M 'At S 'H and South Pacific. Both were very well received by the public. Coop- eration between the schools con- tinues with many Griffin boys at- tending classes at the Academy, especially for foreign language, and the girls coming to Griffin for physics, marketing and computer science courses. Two year old Drama Club had two sueeessfulpresentations. M.A.S.H. and South Paewe. 4 The audience roared its approval at the presentation of M.A.S. H. Brother Lamarre had taught at Cathedral in its ear- liest years and greeted several members of the first graduating class from Cathedral who were present for the Mass and the re- ception which followed.
