ith Cribs and Las Posadasn Christmas season was a very busy time for Cathedralites. The first of many activities was the Christmas crib contest sponsored by the League of Mary. Las Posadas, a Mexican Christmas custom, was presented by the com- bined Spanish classes. The Gen- esians gave a one-act play, and the Glee Club held a community sing of Christmas carols. On the last day of school before vacation, the entire school assembled for the blessing of the outdoor crib and for the singing of the solemn Magniiicat, During the vacation, members of the Sodality and League of Mary took Christmas packages to the Indian children at the Santa Ysabella Mission. On January 6, all classes took part in celebrating Little Christmas with parties, dancing and a movie. Christmas in Egypt, 11B's entry took first place honors in the Christmas crib contest. joan Herring, Katie Karnes, Char- lotte Snyder, Geraldine Frazier, and Gail Crane take a last look before the judging.
