Veritas Club Stimulates Dis ous Sion After lecturing to the entire student body, Father Urusov, S.J. from the Russian Center in San Francisco held an informal meeting with club members at which he recalled many details of his life in Russia and his experiences as a priest of the Byzantine rite. Mrs. Irene Wessel, who heads Cathedralls speech and drama department, checks the program for the two-day School of Anti- Communism held in December. Helen Scutt, Veritas Club president assists her.

It has three main aims: to develop good sportsmanshipg to boost school spiritg and to encourage students to take an interest in all kinds of sports. There is hardly a time when some G.A.A. sponsored game is not being played, either by the Varsity or intra-mural teams, as well as a constant round of tennis, badminton, and basketball during the noon hour. On January 17 the organization held a skating party for the entire student body at Palisades Gardens. Climax of the year is the annual play day. Patricia McGann G.A.A.
