Seienee Club Members Sponsor Field Trips One of the specialized clubs on campus is the Science Club which strives to promote an interest in science while helping the members to become more informed in various scientific fields. The club has taken many interesting field trips. In January and March, the members went exploring at La Jolla Shores, and later in the year they visited the San Diego Police Department Crime Laboratory. Emilia Ramos, Sue Elliott, Gerry Hughes, and Sylvia Hudec admire the new aquarium in the lab. Ivfarine life has been one of the main interests of Science Club members. Veritas Club Stimulates Dis ous Sion After lecturing to the entire student body, Father Urusov, S.J. from the Russian Center in San Francisco held an informal meeting with club members at which he recalled many details of his life in Russia and his experiences as a priest of the Byzantine rite. Mrs. Irene Wessel, who heads Cathedralls speech and drama department, checks the program for the two-day School of Anti- Communism held in December. Helen Scutt, Veritas Club president assists her.
