League of Mary Leads Noon Rosary League President Kathy Vifeidinger The object of the League of Mary is to lead its members to self-santification through reception of the Sacraments and prayer, and through active co- operation in the Work of Catholic action. The motto of the League is Behold the handmaid of the Lord. Some of the activities the organization has sponsored this year are: the interclass Christ- mas Crib Contest, the party for Indian Children, the October Rosary devotion, and a clothing and food drive for the orphanage in Tijuana. Peggy Deyling, Helen Scutt Csecretaryj, Pamela Carns, Ann Donovan Cvice-presidentj, and Kathy Weidinger Cpresidentj take their turn leading the Rosary at the Fatima shrine during October.

Safety Council Furnjshes Before the conference in Balboa Park, Traffic Safety Council members, Elizabeth Leonard, Gloria Sc Sharon Dorfman The Traffic Council is an organization whose mem- bers, taken from the junior and senior classes, promote obedience to trafiic laws. Each year the members of the organization act as delegates to the San Diego Traffic Council Conference held in Balboa Park. At this conference delegates from all schools in San Diego discuss the various aspects of traffic safety. Sharon Dorfman, president of the Cathedral Safety Council, was elected vice-president of this conference. One of the most active service organizations on campus is the junior Red Cross. The entire school is enrolled in this club.
