We e Sacraments and Instructions Cathedralites learn more about their faith through Monsignor Ricels weekly religion classes, as well as through those conducted by the Sisters and the priests of the parish. There are also abund- ant opportunities to put knowledge into practice through reception of the Sacraments and daily Mass. Every Friday a special Mass is offered at which all students answer the responses or sing parts of the Mass. Every Monday morning all girls attend the Rector's Religion Class where Monsignor provides inspiring and instructive lessons on many phases of Catholic doctrine.

lement English Program In the English program, the Cathedralite learns Kathy Zaworski holds the first-place di- visional trophy which she won in the Toastmasters' High School Speech Contest. how the heritage of western man has been pre- served in literature. In addition to enjoying poems, plays, novels, and essays of the world's great artists, the student is led to interpret and to respond to what she has read by participation in discussions, dramatic presentations, and original compositions. This year, particular emphasis was given to crea- tive writing through the Honors Literary Work- shops.
