o Juniors Ele ven B On that September morning we entered Cathedral as juniors. This we felt, would be a big year for us, and it wasl We got off to a good start by our choice of fine class officers. Early in the fall, those of us who have any athletic ability tried out for the varsity. Christmas came soon, and its wonderful spirit filled everyone. lnstead of exchanging gifts, we sent all our presents to the orphans in Tijuana. Our usual Christmas party we held on the feast of the Three Kings, Little Christmas! Cup-cake sales, tag days, movies, and record hops soon followed. All proceeds went toward our lunior Prom, the biggest event of the year. We made so many plans! Band, bid, ballroom, dress-it seemed that prom night would never come. Finally the hour arrived for us to pick our class rings. They are so beautiful, and we, most impatiently, awaited their arrival in February. At long last, we could proudly display them. Another very important event was the patron drive. lt was a fight to the finish. We didn't win, but we worked hard and ended with over a hundred percent. It must have been funny!
