Mice- .MA for? Entering Cathedral forty-three strong and representing sixteen grammar schools, we were all impressed by the cheerful friendliness which the upperclassmen showed us during our first day at Cathedral. We still remember how our good friends, the Seniors, came out with the cry, Off with the lipstick, Froshl and how, on Initiation Day, they were most anniious to dress us up as clowns and tramps-one girl was a pumpkin! Following initiation, we had elections for class officers, with Mary Louise Paulich at the helm assisted by Ludevina Arciaga, vice presi- dent, Lorraine Nevcs, secretary, Carmen Jaco- belly, treasurer. With leaders chosen, we select- ed our class colors, red and grey, fashioned our emblem, and wrote our class song. At Christmas, our party was a tremendous success, entertainment being supplied by Mary .Io da Silva, Patricia Brame and Yolanda Escu- dero. During May, the highlight of our activities centered around participation in the Music Festival, a Cake Walk that we sponsored de- spite certain scattered showersf' and daily May devotions at the shrine erected in our room.
