Picnicking Time: Chiggers Anyone? The students and faculty of C.V.T.I. enjoyed time away from the classrooms due to a picnic. Everyone followed a nar- row trail down to an outside barbecue pit where grilled hamburgers, potato chips, and soft drinks were waiting. But these don't have ruffles! Oh, Boy! Lunch time!

A Display of Talent From the Student Body Jo Minion, Winner The CVTI Talent Show is one of the highlights during the year. A variety of students volunteered to display their different talents be- fore the entire student body. fo Minton, winner of the 1970 Talent Show given to the student body of CVTI. sang the beautiful song, What Do You Get When You Fall in Love? She not only won the votes of the judges but got a hearty applause from the students. First runner-up, Linda Rose, did an original song by sing- ing and playing the guitar. Not only did her entertainment appeal to the students' ears, but so did the lyrics of her song.
