Directed Studies Lab Whatever happened to the EASY problems? Through the Directed Studies Laboratory, a student may find help to prepare for high school equivalency examinations, make up admissions deficiencies for technical institutes and colleges, reduce specific educa- tional weaknesses, upgrade themselves for job promotion, reinforce other courses of study, or simply for personal satisfaction. There are more than forty subjects among which any student can adjust study time to meet his own conve- niences and schedules. One sets his own study sessions and attends as many days and hours per week us he can. Enrollees may begin courses at any time during the quarter and may undertake as many subjects as desired. The Directed Studies Laboratory Coordinator can help the student: locate the level of instruction at which the student can learn by himself, formulate the sequence of courses to be taken, and assure himself that he is making satisfactory progress. What is more, there are no admissions requirements or fees for study in the Lab. 18
