For Reference Not to be taken from this room nm IS ■ .  - .  4 5 -jir . 3i opening • 1 V- sl v fc r . r : w f ' Mb 2 • opening w L r t so i look into the mirror and see the reflection of what a college student is. he is into the beauties — of people, of music, of nature, so i mold myself because it is important to capture my identity. most often it isn ' t real, so i redirect my individuality, but sometimes i glance back at that mirror and see that i ' ve changed, and the hidden beauties are now my whole existence. opening • 3 $ :£ I nt ' - s A t ' .j A 4 . opening . — If r + •{ m w fs :=r?K once upon a time i smiled at you, and you smiled, but i didn ' t know you then, so here we are, in one place, in one time, and it ' s new and fresh and exciting, so smile at me again . . . today . . . tomorrow. . . sometime soon! ¥ opening • 5 so, a four year performance com- mences, it really is a performance, don ' t you think? but it isn ' t so much for an audience, as it is a test, so i bow my head and tap my foot violently to the music, and for once in my life i can weep with my friend, because it is me i ' m watching on that stage . . . I 6 • opening V . and the anger wells up inside because finally someone had tne guts to say - this place really brings you down, it happens to us all, sometimes to one more often than another, but it isn ' t all peaches and cream, so it shouldn ' t be portrayed as such, should it? so today everyone is pressing down on our gills and we are gasping for air. how can our peers hate us so much? and the demands are eventually accomplished and all of a sudden the sun is brighter than it ever has been ?- vV.:-. 1. J5 jm;: 1 h .-j ja ; •   « m.CH . . . and that ' s unusual because the sun usually doesn ' t shine when we are in this frame of mind, and the load lessens, and our teeth loosen their grip, and we explode into a kingdom of self-satis- faction, this place really takes you up, huh? opening . 9 fr A so it is the beginning again, and they play: they play pool, and music, and most importantly, they play people! but since it is the beginning, i take it with a grain of salt because i know about first impressions, they are fairly invalid, so i sit in my special place and in two months come out of seclusion, then i make my choices, don ' t i? -X, r 10 • opening I ......:- :-.. . vLy m ins imjfr -M u 0 I .¥ S- v Li— u lOmt- • 1 • m i s MBatefeggftti. ■.- -. ' oumi i didn ' t want. this to happen, right when i was in turmoil over my identity, you came along and magnetically crushed my plans of self- awareness, well, i certainly am happy now since you ' re around, now we search together and somehow our indecisiveness and attrac- tion banks on affection, so we really don ' t need the games anymore, do we? we don ' t need anything anymore — only what we unknow- ■ ingly came here to grab at its first suggestion, and someone else may be a little happier because we are smiling for and with them a ..W 12 .opening ■ , vV  : Jpn2 ' -k 4 ™ V f J . boy, do i love you!
