PRESIDENT To the Members of the Class of 1 965: The passing of this significant milestone, college graduation, merits the sincere congratulations of us all. I wish I might write a personal message to each of you, for each of you has achieved his own distinctive accomplishment, different from that of anyone else. All of us share your satisfaction on attainment of this high goal. We hope you will often recall the events and activities recorded in this Sayak- ini. The purpose of the editors has been to furnish reminders which will serve through years to come to bring you back in spirit, and sometimes in person, to your Alma Mater. Our more significant hope for you, however, is that your college career will serve only as prelude to a life of study, of contemplation, and of action which will dem- onstrate the growth you have begun at Catawba and will continue wherever you go. Our best wishes will go with you always. Sincerely yours, Donald C. Dearborn
