At present, because of keener interest in your immediate future made all the more intense by the uncertainty of the times, you will probably devote only a few minutes ' hasty perusal to your annual and then lay it aside for future reference. In the future lies the value of the yearbook. As the years slip by, your classmates and friends gradually disperse until only rarely do you en- counter an old college acquaintance. However, despite this disintegration, there is one common bond which always spans the years with its chronicle of memories — the yearbook. Reverence it, for it contains a treasure hoard of future happiness. The images of men ' s wits and knowledges remain in books, exempted from the wrong of time, and capable of perpetual renovation.
