A typical day at the Midway Bowling Alley for the girls in G.A.A. Bowling, one of the most popular sports, took place every Tuesday for eight weeks. Fifty-two students participated in this co-ed sport at the Midway Bowl in San Leandro. Each alley had a team of four on it with a mini- mum of two games. Everyone enjoyed this game and almost lOO per cent improved their bowling.

SKATING During the late tall block this year, skat- ing at the Rollarena in San Leandro was offered as one of the activities. The girls who signed up for skating enjoyed an hour of skating once a week. They also were taught how to skate better, do turns, and skate backwards.
