Barbara Scott President G.A.A. G.A.A. is an extra-clurricular activity for girls who enjoy sports and want to improve their athletic abilities. A great many sports are offered including bowling and billiards, as well as skating and syncronized swimming. The advisors this year are Mrs. Slocum and Miss Gieck. The instructors are Miss Vaz, Mrs. Cannon, and Miss Squires. The President and Executive Council guide the whole G.A.A. plan with some adult aid. They plan dinners, fun nites, and playdays with other schools, as well as the regular after-school program. The G.A.A. has block sweaters, pins, and medals which are awarded at the end of the year at the installation dinner. Miss Vaz Mrs. Cannon Miss Squires Instructor Instructor Instructor

The first block in G.A.A. included one day of free swimming and two days of syncronized swimming each week for those who passed the advanced swimming tests. The group worked toward better skills and higher goals. A shot of just a few of the girls who enjoyed the G.A.A. Dinner, November 4, which was 0 finale to the fall swimming block. Q
