Tarwater Principal One of the greatest needs of our day is a better understanding of the duties and responsibilities which help us maintain our freedom and our liberty. It is the purpose of your school to offer academic training which will prepare you for your future life, but we believe it is also one of the functions of a good school to develop an understanding of duties and responsibilities - and this we try to do. Another great need of our day is a better understanding of other people and the ability to get along with them. We hope that the knowledge which you have acquired in our school will help you to successfully handle the problems which you meet in your daily lives. Castlewood High School has attempted through its curricular and extracurricular activities to prepare each of you for the task which confronts you. If we have done this for you then we can and will take great satisfaction in a job well done. We will follow you into your future years with great interest and concern. In the years to come, when you turn through the pages of your 1977 Castletonian, may it remind you of many happy days spent here, the friends you made, and the fellowship which you enjoyed with them.
