(f) Barbara Lyons and Len Wohlford, make-up edi- tors, plan the February issue of the school paper.

Students Receive Rewards For Achievements (a) John Graybeal, president of the class of 1955, responds to the welcome at the Junior- Senior Banquet in the spring of 1955. Peggy Jessee, president of the junior class, is toast- mistress. (b) W. C. Robinson, school treasurer, prepares to deposit money in the bank. (c) Jack Jordan and Verlan Monk, co- captains of the basketball team, receive the trophy for the Russell County Championship in 1956. (d) Carolyn Axsom, Roger Osborne and Lee Ring present the skit “Little Abner,” in a talent contest sponsored by the SCA. Lowell Huff and Tommy Cox are in the rear. (e) Bob Hancock, Lee Ring, Billy Dotson and Charles Nelson Harris enact a scene from the one act play, “The Hunger I Got,” which won a distinguished rating in county, district and state competition in the spring of 1955.
