N ORDER to inore fully explore the world of stainps, the stamp V club was organized by Mr. Shillinglaw. During the year the group has collected stanips, in sonie cases adding to old collections and in other cases building up new collections. Altlio the club was organ- ized primarily for boys, there is one girl ineniber. Since the club was forined niany of the adhesives have been pur- chased and trading has gone on on a large scale between: the inenibers of the clubs. One ot' the lnain activities of the club was the canvassing of the world for stamps. By this method each IllCIIlbCI' corresponded with students in other countries and traded stamps with them. Note of this unique inethod of collecting stamps was given in an article in the New York Herald Tribune along with an article concerning the club. HIS year the girls revolted and now we have organized under the leadersliip of Miss Decker the first sewing club ever to be formed in this school. Since the formation of the club the future house- keepers have made several fancy articles as well as useful ones. The boys, however did not let thein get away with the revolt entirely, for when the club was first organized two boys received nieinbersliip.
