BANK OI' I ICI XI S Seated lcft to right Ruth Barrmgcr I-'llfabeth Qcott Thuistfn Paul Standing Samuel Patton Pciix Fnllc md Wir fassavant 04-0-Q-Q-99-9-oooovvoooooo0900000900-ooooooo QOQQQQQQQQQooooooooooooooo oooooooooo-0 SCHOOL BANK The results achieved by the school bank during the fiscal year have been exceedingly gratifying. Nearly 81,000 have been deposited by the school children this year. Five years ago the school bank was founded, to operate in conjunction with the National Ex- change Bank of Castleton to teach the pupils of the school principles of thrift and foresight. During the first year well over 51,000 was saved. the high total of deposits being due to some ex- tent to the novelty and newness of the institu- tion. However. with the following yea1', no ap- preciable slump in total deposits occurred, and each year since the mark of the first year has been very closely approached, but never sur- passed. To carry on the work connected with this new organization, officials were elected from the Student Body by popular vote of the high 4000-9000000-909000000Oo-9000090909000 school students. These ofiicials for 1930-31 were: Thurston Paul-President. Perry Finkle-Vice President. Samuel Patton-Treasurer. Ruth Barringer-Secretary. Elizabeth Scott-Auditor. lfnder the capable supervision :nd direc- tion of Mr. Cassavant, new methoils and sys- tems for handling the bank's business have been initiated. until at the present time all business is conducted with utmost efliciency and speed. To Mr. Cassavant and to the National Ex- change Bank, the oflicials of our school bank extend their heartiest thanks for their friendly and helpful co-operation in making this year a successful one for our institution. May we also wish next year's officers the best o' luck in their transactions. T. Paul, Jr., '31. 00-0090-044004-oo 0 0000900009-0-090000-0-Q04-0-9-Q une, 1931 Page ?I . .il
