Ll- Tzamiiibn IQ54 Students enter Castlemont as sophomores and leave as graduating seniors, with change being an integral part of the years in between. This change ranges from obvious physical change through the more subtle change in personal ideas, values, and personality. Indeed, one principle of education holds that no true education takes place until the individual undergoes a process of change. This year we find that change will come not only to the students within Castlemont, but to the very school structure itself, with the main building scheduled to be demolished in the immediate future to make way for a newer and more modern structure. Sensing this feeling of change, we, the members of the l959 Falcon staff, have elected to develop our school yearbook theme as an expres- sion of this change. Both in format and content, the l959 Falcon is focused at a conscious attempt to capture this feeling of change as being synony- mous with Castlemont student life. Thus, we proudly present for your in- spection a record of the past year at Castlemont l-ligh School under the theme title Transition l959.
