Only knowledge has torn aside the veil of ignorance. This book is dedicated to the students who remain at Castlernont, and those who in the future will enter Castlernont. They are the future-the corrections of yesterday's mistakes, and the hopeful tornorrows. They enter these majestic halls in anticipation of what lies before them: they will leave with added knowledge, as they continue on the road of life. As the search for knowledge is ever ceaseless, we, the graduates, have availed ourselves of the opportunities that the past twelve years have offered us. We hope that future graduates will continue to hold high the flame of knowledge as they tread the dark corridors of ignorance. ..f4CLl'l0l,UL6lgJl'l2l'lf . . . rr THE 1952 FALCON STAFF wishes to acknowledge appreciation to the following people, who have made the publishing of this book possible. The knights, this past season, brought forth cheers from the stands and exempli- fied such courage and sportsmanship that an extensive exhilaration spread through the stands, letting each person know the team's losses were not in vain. This past football season was not such a victorious one for the varsity, but they should be praised for their effort, their courage, and their will to win. During the season students filled the stands at each O.A.L. game to see the Knights and their opponents race across the turf, tear down the field with the ball, and go for that always-desired touchdown. The East-West game was won by the West, but it was not taken without a fight, and Castle- mont was among the East teams to strive for the victory. The junior varsity brought home victoriesg their season was a glorious one. There is a bright future for the coming football varsity, as there has always been with the former teams. A l. Varsity 2. He has brought coopera- tion among the players and a spirit which could only be found on a team coached by Mr. Richert. Coach Richert came to Castlemont about twenty-one years ago from Oregon State and has been a favorite of many fellows, as well as girls.
