Homecoming in ‘87 The 1987 Homecoming week- end was a weekend to be re- membered for many reasons. First of all the football game was an exciting Lion victory over Northside, 42-8. Many students and exes showed their spirit in many dif- ferent ways. The junior class truly showed their spirit by winning the Student Council spirit link contest. The Acappella Choir also produced “Best of Broadway ', their review of the twenty-five musicals they have produced. The homecoming parade and Thursday night pep rally will also be remembered in spite of the coldness of the day. The Friday pep rally was an ex- citing, fun-filled, crowded event. The Homecoming Court of 1987-88 was made up of three girls who were active in school, Queen Rachael Southworth, Princess Shawna Clark, and Princess Steph- anie Nall. Homecoming Queen of 1987, Rochoel Southworth. Homecoming Court: Mr. Jerry Nall, Princess Stephanie Nall, Mr. Jim Southworth, Queen Rochael Southworth, Mr. Fred Borney, Mr. Truman Noland, Princess Shawna Clark.
