This organization is dedicated in assisting the cheerleaders, cheering the football team and basketball players at sports activities, and attending other athletic events. This group has many fund raisers. Some of these include bake sales, car washes, and selling items for special events and holidays. The money made on these projects goes towards the pom-poms and the mono- grammed shirts already purchased. The funds are a also used for art supplies,(to make posters, dec- orations, and banners) and for other necessities. CHRISITIAN ATHETES The Fellowship of Christian Athletes, gives to the athletes the challange and adventure of redeving Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of their church. The activities consist of sponsoring the David Roever as- sembly, raising money at the FCA night at Crystals, meetings that include speakers dis- cussions and Bible studies. They host the varsity basketball tournament, go to area rallies, build leadership by sending dele- gations to state and national convention, softball competitions in the spring and then their year climaxes with a campout at Eagle Moutain Lake. Through these experienes taking place throughout the year they hope to accomplish their purpose.
