STUDENT COUNCIL This years Student Council has been a very successful one, thanks to the cooperation and effort of all those involved. Our acivities, in- cluded dances, spirit links contest, o talent show, and more, aroused a great deal of school spirit and par- ticipation. In addition to these things, we introduced a new con- cept this year. A point systen was developed so that any student could work his way onto the council by earning a certain number of points. This proved to be very effective. We hope it will continue to be used in years to come. These things could not have been possible with- out the constant help and support of our sponsors, Pat Hardy and Sally Highfield. We truly appreciate and thank them for o gieat year. We have participated in many activities such as decorating the foyer for pep rallies and selling candy. We enjoyed a brunch at La Modeleine and a pizza party at Crystals with the profits of our fundraisers. This years officers have been very active with the club and have stimulated an interest in French among its other members. Many thanks goes to Mrs. Vickie Harris, our sponsor, who has been very supportive and creative throughout the year.
