The J.V. finished the seoson with four wins ond five losses in district ploy. The teom. which consisted of one junior ond eight sophomores, wos coached by Stephen Poine. This talented group of round boll” ployers will, no doubt, become on exciting addition to the returning varsity ployers ond will generore some reol paw power next year. The spark was ignited, but wos never fanned into a full flome for the freshman teom. This yeor. with consis- tent improvement ond through hard work ond stamina, rhe freshmen closed the seoson with a 1-8 district record. They worked well together ond gove it their best shot. The combined coaching rolenrs of Cooch Mozzo ond Coach Poine improved the capabili- ty of the freshman squad one hundred percent.
