The cosmetology students belong to the Vocotionol Indusrriol Clubs of Americo. Through V.I.C.A.. the students were oble to compere in different skill coregories or the district ond stote levels. This prepored the students for the world of work, os well os the role of leodership. In October, the students orrended the Comeo Beouty Show in Dollos. In March, they participated in the district contest in Son Antonio, ond in April, they competed or the stote contest in Austin. Every Fridy. the students worked on porrons. The stote boords for the seniors were held Moy 12-13 in Austin. Upon possing these exoms. the girls become licensed beauti- cians. ond were qualified to enter the world of beauty.
