STUDENT COUNCIL The main goal of Student Council this year was to become more effective and more active. Student Council gained the support of many students by changing the dress code to an open code Where girls were allowed to Wear pants and jeans, and hair was no longer a problem for boys. Besides handling the small problems involved with student govern- ment, several committees Were set up. One for checking into Student Council operated candy machines and one which set up the Christmas Litter Campaign. The Bi-cameral system, or 2 hour system is being used on a trial basis. Plans for the future are: a new voting system for electing A. S.B. officers, perhaps a judicial system run by the studenis, and making recommendations for next years governing body so their govern- ment can be even stronger and more active.
