Homecoming festivities were high- lighted by the theme As The Years Go By and the Junior Bonfire. Al- though the October 16th Bonfire was smaller than those in the past years, it successfully created the spirit neces- sary for our victory over Ridgefield. Excitement soared with the final score 44-O. The half time entertainment began with Coronation of the queen, Connie I-Iauge. Her court consisted of Senior class princess, Kathy Fowler, Sophomore Princes, Kim Hauge, and Freshman princess, Denise Gill. Fol- lowing the coronation of the queen, the class and club floats were presented Each float conveyed the theme in its own way. First place went to the Sen- ior class float. FFA received second place, and the Sophomore class float ran third. The Homecoming Dance which featured the fantastic band, Lawe, ended the weekend's activities. These things combined made Home- coming one of the most memorable events of the year.
