The Trojan Homecoming was played against Hilltop, but nobody watched as the Tro- janettes, Teams, and other participants paraded onto the field. Not a single person was able to watch the first threewarters. All of those who attended will remember the anticipation of waiting for the announcer to explain what occured, for most of the game was played in a thick fog bank .... Tom Cruz threads his way through the Lancers line. The Trojan Gridders experienced a-not-so good year as they ended the season with one win and seven losses . Lacking returning lettermen, the team fought well to retain the valor of previous years. Many players showed themselves as an excellent potential for future years, but they needed the experience which this season gave them . This years team gave the great contribution of preparing Castle Park for future years . . . .BOTH TEAMS IN THE FOG . . . but this did not stop the great Trojan spirit. As the game started people lined the fence to see the fantastic floats. During the half-time they strained their eyes to see the Homecoming Queen candi- dates. Finally, during the Fourth Quarter the fog quickly cleared, and then the Trojans saw the Football team fight hard to stop the Lancers losing by a score of 34 to7. The lawn cmd walk are empty. Lockers are slammed For the last time and the Victory pole stands alone and forlorn. A summer breeze is the only thing playing on the campus. The Seniors are gone. They left in their paths an example for all Trojans. They modeled a school and a student body. They tasted the victory and defeat of their last climb to the top. Now it's over. There's a tear and a smile for Troy. Memories and experiences are locked within the halls. Seniors have met their final challenge and gained the know- ledge that they will need for the rest of their lives. Good Luck Class of '67 STAFF CREDITS LOLA SABLAN. . .
