CAS IQ HEIGHTS AVIATION GROUND SCHOOI IITIHE aviation industry is today the most popular field of industry. This is an industry that needs the properly trained personnel and this personnel must come from young mem with a clear head and young ideas. We need not mention the ever- increasing advancement of civil and military aviation because this advancement is well known. The combined aeronauti- cal industry is asking for trained men to become executives, pilots, mechanics, aeronautical engineers, airport constructors, technically slcilled laborers, salesmen, and a host of other desirable positions. The authorities of C. H. M. A. have realized this need for a general aviation ground school course, to acquaint those students with the various fields connected with aviation so that they may be better prepared to plan their future. The Army and Naval Air Corps, the U. S. Dept. of Commerce, and Parks Air College of E. St. Louis, Missouri, have aided in establishing this course. The instructor of this course is well qualified and capable, and is a licensed instructor under the United States Government's Civilian Pilot Training pro- gram.

Boys who are thus splendidly equipped go forth ready to conquer the grave emergencies of life. You need not ask whether they will make a success. They can com- mand it, dominate it, win it in practically every instance. Mens :ana in corpore sane -a sound mind in a sound body-has been frequently quoted. It represents a momentous truth that many people fail to recognize. Parents who encourage their boys to give their entire attention to mental development fail to recognize the grave need of a splendid physical foundation, and they are building their boy's career on shifting sands. Square shoulders-vital physical characteristics-are the essential requirements of our studentsg and those who come to us without these much needed character- istics will receive the attention necessary to properly develop them. Every boy will some day be a mang and it should be his one ambition to be a strong man-strong in mind and body. With such a physical equipment as a be- ginning, he should be able to reach this highest possible development mentally, morally and spiritually. -BERNARR MACFADDEN. ,r',,' NAF ,i,i I, DIRECTOR FLORES TESTING CADET'S STRENGTH IYDICAI MENUS BREAKFAST DINNER SUPPER Wheatsworth Cereal Creamed Chicken on Toast ' Fruit Salad Scalloped Potatoes Apple Sauce Chopped Steak Cranberry jelly Green Lima Beans Whole Wheat Bread-Butter Sweet Potatoes with Marshmallow Topping P Toast Tomato Salad Hot Rolls-Butter reserves Butter Liilk Postum Ice Cream-Cake HO!
