FOREWORD I would like to introduce you, students, teachers, and friends of C.V.C.S. to the 1958 Valley View. This book is the cumulation of much time and effort on the part of the yearbook staff, time and effort cheerfully given in hope that the pages within will recall to you in future years pleasant memories of this past school year. The 1958 annual has still another purpose. When the time for you, the students, to depart from this hallowed institution arrives, you will have the challenge of living up to the standards set forth by past graduates of C.V.C.S. You will want to express the very best of yourself from whatever position you occupy in society. We hope that the C.V.C.S. tradition captured within the covers of this book will serve as a reservoir of inspiration to help you to maintain these standards.
