FOREWORD With.in this volume of the Cassonian we have tried to record the essence of our school life here at Cass Township High School? We have tried to capture the many fond memories of our academic life, our athletic prowess, our social life, our leisure, and above all, the warm friendships which we spawned and nurtured while at Cass High. With smiles and tears, success and failure, we have trod the long, hard way toward our goal, gra- duation. These for us now, can never be regained. DEDICATION We, the class of 1957, wish to dedicate this issue of the Cassonian to all the High Schools throughout America, and to the cause of furthering thedemocratic way of life which we have learned so well during our High School years. As we have experienced countless opportunities during our school years to improve ourselves physically, mentally and socially, we hereby dedicate ourselves to do all we canto promote and provide these same opportunities for others. 4
