Auto-Aero, Air Conditioning ond Carl Turnquist Dept. Head Refrigeration Curricula The Automotive Curriculum, the Aeronautical Curriculum, and the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Curriculum are all designed to enable a student to become a good craftsman in the field of his interest. These curricula also enable the student to acquire considerable knowledge of English, mathematics, science and social studies. All these subjects, when mastered, not only help the student know and understand present conditions but make him adaptable to future problems in industry or in college. The shop Work in the Automotive Curriculum covers the practical and technical aspects of hand tools, engines, power train units, welding, engine testing, and automotive servicing. The shop work in the Aeronautical Curriculum consists of hand tools, engines, airframes, welding, aerodynamics, engine testing, construction, meteorology, and navigation.
