This is evidenced by the number of prizes and art scholarships won by Cass art students. The art curricula are: commercial art, costume illustration, and arts and crafts. Freehand drawing and art composition form the bases of study in these curricula. These courses are augmented by courses in letter- ing, water color, figure drawing, graphic design, pen and ink poster, hand- crafts, costume illustration, or jewelry design and construction in accordance with the studen't's curriculum.
