As an official for intramurals, Dave lump must be alert and move quickly. 43 Intramurals I O 1 1 5: x -Y ,,,, S+. -Q Cass' intramural season was termed a success by Mr. Ogle and Mr. Southern. The teams played often during weekends and after school to earn the championship. In a grueling game, Robertson's Robots defeated Ricks' Raiders. Team members included Dave Culp, Terry Robertson, Mike Warpenburg, Bob Daggett, Tim Weaver, Cary Chambers, Ierry Gillis and Brent Kepner. The Ir. High had an equally exciting season. Mr. Southern divided his teams into squads of I1, I2, I3 and 14. The winner of the first half of the year was team 14, led by freshman Ion Mayhill. The second half winner was team I1 with 7th grader Kelly Ayers as captain. The overall winner through the playoffs was team I3, led by freshman Dave Osborn. Cagers, Ted Kitchel and Carl Foust led the team in scoring and Kitchel also led in rebounds. Brad Angle was named floor leader and was leading field goal shooter. Coach Mannies' substitutes were also very much a part of the team. Scott 'Marschand, Mike Robison, Tom Smith and Matt Davis were very important in these roles. Marschand and Gary Mannies were co-recipients of the defense award. The highlights of the year were the Holiday Tourney Championship and the 13- game winning streak. The Iunior Varsity ended their season 8-12. The season started slowly but they highlighted it by winning the IV Tourney at Caston.
