S VARSITY VOLLEYBALL-FIRST ROW: Deb Hickey, Mgr., Denise Carden, Brenda Layman, Pam Elleman, Cindy Layman, Suzan Dillon, Cheryl DeHaven, Melinda Peter, Kim Layman, Lynn Ramer, Sandy Layman and Coach Lucas. 1 The Lewis Cass 1975-76 Volleyball team ended their season with a record of 10-4. The Varsity team was under the coaching of Penny Lucas. The IV team was under Coach Alice Gillis and Iodie Price was Ir. High coach. Coaches stated, We hope to have an undefeated team next year. The team worked hard and spent many hours after school striving to make it a good season. The Iunior High also tried their best to make a perfect season, but ended with a record of 4-3. Iunior high football was highlighted by the 7th grade's 7-0 season. It was the first undefeated record ever compiled by a 7th grade squad at Cass. Mr. Herrell and Mr. Stage coached this fine group of players. Undefeoted Team Leads Ir. High Trapped, Greg Penkwitz tries to outrun his Delphi opponent.
