To start the season, he selected the best- looking prospects out of this group. Of these, Brad Angle, Tim Elpers, Neal Rouch, Doug Segraves and Ed Carden made All-Conference. Carden and Scott Marschand were chosen All-State by the APQ Carden as IUNIOR VARSITY Class AA center and FOOTBALL Marschand as honorable mention quarterback. WE THEY Northwestern 6 0 The Kings started with three ggggglfn 2 2 tough losses, losing by a total Delphi 12 8 of 11 points. The team then. Logansport 6 24 came on strong and won their next six games in a row, ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM-FIRST ROW: Neal Roush and Brad Angle, SECOND ROW: Tim Elpers, Scott Marschand, Ron Hawkins, Doug Segraves and Ed Carden. Varsity Finishes 6-4 including a 21-7 win over Maconaquah and a 14-0 win over Eastern. The season ended sourly as the Kings lost to Southwood by a score of 21-13. Iunior high football was highlighted by the 7th grade's 7-0 season. It was the first undefeated record ever compiled by a 7th grade squad at Cass. Mr. Herrell and Mr. Stage coached this fine group of players. Undefeoted Team Leads Ir. High Trapped, Greg Penkwitz tries to outrun his Delphi opponent. The Cass Bthigraders, under SEVENTH GRADE the leadershlp of Mr. Iones FOOTBALL g and Mr. Hawkins, hustled their way to a 4-2-1 record for WE THEY the 75 season.
