28 Awards Day X Awards Bring Smiles Awards at the junior high program brought smiles to the faces of many teachers and students at Lewis Cass. Students honored with Lewis Cass Awards included three 9th graders, seven 8th graders and eight 7th grade students. Mr. Davis presented these awards to those nominated by I teachers. Only six junior high students had the distinction of making the A honor roll for the entire year. The 9th grade students were Mary Ann Barker, Greg Crite and jim McKinley and the 8th graders included Clay Apple, Kelly Mabie and Angie Starbuck. Several students also received individual awards in specific subject areas. Principal Ralph Davis addresses the 7th, 8th and 9th grade students assembled for the 1976 Awards Day program at Cass. As junior high recipient of the Lewis Cass faculty award, Mrs. Miles proudly accepts her plaque from Craig Wisler.

As the curtain closed and seniors took one last look around, they experienced mixed emotions concerning graduation. Throughout the year, they had done many things together. They went skiing in Michigan, went to King's Island on grad night and had a senior campout at Missesenewa. On the last day they started out early by having senior breakfast prepared by the Sunshine girls, received their honors at the Awards program, rode in the caravan through Logansport and took their final bow at commencement practice. The Grand F inole One step closer to graduation, Ierry Winters and Cinny Davis proudly march in. -X Y Z.-x Valedictorian Suzan Dillon Salutatorian Stacy Simpson reviews addresses Cass seniors during the the years and their happenings for baccalaureate ceremonies seniors.
