Happy Birthday, merica Happy Birthday, America was a play which originated in the Advanced Dramatics class of P.I. Finster and Lotte Shine. Thespian Iamie Murray took the slides which, along with a map of the U.S., were the only scenery for the play. Pantomines, 'original songs, and interpretative dancing were contributions by the cast. After the journey through 200 years of history, the cast introduced new Thespian Society members Beth Yeakley, Theresa Gahan, Toni Dowden, Suzan Dillon, Rick Ricks, Pam Phillips and Ioyce Stover. Younger Thon Springtime After being crowned, Anne Beechy and Tony Logan pause as they cross the bridge. Younger Than Springtime was the theme used by juniors as they presented the Ir.-Sr. Prom on Friday, April 30. Stepping out of their jeans and into tuxs and forrnals, 125 couples enjoyed the fancy festivities. The gym was turned into a spring setting, with butterflies and clouds hanging from the sky. There was also a fountain, water scenes and beautifully arranged greenery. A rainbow of music was provided by the band, Afterdork. Prom queen and king for the evening were Anne Beechy and Tony Logan.
