Spring Cast Presents Gliver This year's annual musical was Oliver, presented on May 7 and 8. The production, based on Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist took place in 19th century England where the poor and orphaned children were destined to the workhouse. Happy Birthday, merica Happy Birthday, America was a play which originated in the Advanced Dramatics class of P.I. Finster and Lotte Shine. Thespian Iamie Murray took the slides which, along with a map of the U.S., were the only scenery for the play. Pantomines, 'original songs, and interpretative dancing were contributions by the cast. After the journey through 200 years of history, the cast introduced new Thespian Society members Beth Yeakley, Theresa Gahan, Toni Dowden, Suzan Dillon, Rick Ricks, Pam Phillips and Ioyce Stover.
