Because of the high interest shown by the juniors, Gramercy Ghost was double- Cast in many roles. The story of a Revolutionary soldier doomed to exist unitl he delivered George Washington's message was played by different casts on March 19 and 20, 1976. Rick Ricks, Deb Winters, Kyle Whitcomb and Helen Quinn all portrayed ghosts, giving literally glowing performances. The set crew faced the task of creating a realistic room setting and were put to the test when they refurbished the couch and chair from the teacher's lounge for the set. Student director for the play was Pam Phillips. Spring Cast Presents Gliver This year's annual musical was Oliver, presented on May 7 and 8. The production, based on Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist took place in 19th century England where the poor and orphaned children were destined to the workhouse.
