Boys and Girls Letter Clubs were established by students with letters from varsity sports to raise money for purchasing athletic supplies. The Girls Letter Club, sponsored by Miss Lucas, raised money by sponsoring a dance, a bake sale and a car wash. The Boys Letter Club, led by Mr. Cain, contributed a lot to Lewis Cass. They helped purchase the sign in front of the school, the victory arch and various other supplies. They also worked in the concession stands during games. Congratulations is offered as Miss Lucas honors girls' athletics at the annual banquet.
