Foreword r “Life is a song--sing it. “ As the graduates of 1953 face life today, they join the mighty chorus of American youth. They know only too well that they are entering a world of resounding discords. But they have faith in the training that they have received and their ears are attuned to catch the “music of the spheres.' It is their part to restore to a portion of that world a semblance of harmony. They are prepared to keep the faith that will eventually restore both peace of mind and happiness of heart out of which flow the truest melody. Lead on, members of the class of 53. Like the bards of old, lead the w'orld in the happy song of hope and peace. And as you unfold your saga of deeds done thus far, plan your future carefully and well. Only thus may a progression of strong, sure chords lead you and yours in the grand finale of the perfect symphony of Life. 1
