Ron Peters, Ron Bukowski and Wilbur Dorman are all prosperous farmers in this locality. Hazel Hartwick is the commercial teacher in the local school. Ed Cutler and Bob Tesho are private investigators for the F.B.l. Charles Martinek owns and operates a dairy farm in Ohio. Marjorie Peasley is the loving and devoted wife of the local Methodist minister. Richard Easton and Raymond Spaulding are both commissioned officers in the army. LeRoy Vahovick manages a profitable gas station in this area. Jean Kritzman is happily married to a wealthy businessman. Calvin Puskas has acquired the title heavy-weight boxer of the world. Sherlock Frederick has a successful horse ranch in Wyoming. Margaret Willerton and Shirley Vargo run a day nursery in Detroit. Charles Hempton has become a famous western cowboy. Stanley Beach has certainly come into the money, he designs cars for the Ford Motor Company. Roy Wagg just retired after several years of farming. It was very amazing as to how many class members were present at the reunion. Of course there were some members that were unable to come. There was a letter of regret from each one that was not able to attend. Robert Fritz and Carl Gohsman were on important business in Washington and sent their regards. Jeanne Field, Beverly Bird, Doris Copland and Velma Cooper have made a career in the navy and of course were not able to attend. Joan Holmberg was on a tour with the Metropolitan Opera Company and was out of the country at the time. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wallace, she the former Beatrice Leslie, were unable to attend. He is the coach at Western Michigan College and a game had been scheduled for that day. Douglas Stewart is a captain in the army and was on special duty. It was an accepted fact that this class had outstanding ability as it went through high school. As you can see the class is still living up to that reputation. 24
