I was curious about the future and I could wait no longer to find out what was in store for me. The room was a dark, frightening room and I could scarcely see the gypsy who sat in the middle of the room. I was asked to draw four cards and from these she would read my future. As my trembling hand drew the first card she began to talk. I see a large brick school building and over 100 bright- ened Freshmen entering its doors. The students are choosing leaders and Dick Wallace is President with Gerald Whittaker as Vice-President: Bonnie Benkelman, Treasurer: Tom Schwaderer as Secretary and Mr. Parker, Advisor. “Ah, but now the picture is changing for the school doors are wide open and everyone is leaving for vacation. Three cards still remain so I pulled out the second card. She began again “Vacation is now over and the school is again filled.” I see people voting again, this 16
